Now I don’t mean to brag… But I truly believe I have mastered my ultimate favourite, all-round pleaser.. the Chocolate cake! (this may be because of my unrequited love for chocolate). So I LOVE a GOOD chocolate cake, moist, chocolately, fudgy and almost ‘heavy’, to me there’s nothing more disappointing than the anticipation of a delicious, hot, moist cake straight out of the oven and its…. dry.
Oh and the ganache! Don’t get me started on that, a good chocolate ganache I could drink like soup! (slightly weird, I know) but my point of this post is, practice makes perfect! If there’s something you LOVE then keep practicing it until it is out of this world! That goes for everything in and out of this wonderful bakers world!

Suggestion: Warm up a slice in the microwave on a low power and serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream… heaven! Or eat cold from the fridge as a cake bar.
